To become independent, children must develop coordination and control with the freedom of movement found in the Montessori early childhood environment. This gives the children the opportunity to learn how to control their bodies.

Practical Life

Practical Life is the foundation of all future academic work because it promotes coordination, concentration, and independence.

Practical life exercises include liquids, preparing food, washing dishes, setting tables, and handling social situations graciously and courteously.

Through these tasks and experiences, children learn to concentrate, coordinate their movements, and develop fine motor skills.

Sensorial

Sensorial Montessori materials are aimed at developing the five senses:

Further exploring the Sensorial materials, children begin to classify and eventually name objects and attributes in the environment.

Math

The Montessori Math Materials and lessons help children develop an understanding of math concepts through the manipulation of concrete objects, building a secure foundation in math principles, skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Science and Geography

These are all incorporated into the early childhood environment. They are presented in sensorial ways with specially designed materials and real-life experiences.

In geography, children learn not only the names of countries, but the life of people and their respective cultures. They develop a sense of respect for different cultures, recognizing that we all belong to the family of people. Young children are a natural scientists.

Watching and caring for classroom animals and plants creates an interest in science lessons and a reverence for life. Art and music subjects give children an opportunity to be creative and joyful, as well as experience great music and works of art.

Culture

Children are taught the different culture as part of their well-rounded development. This gives them the opportunity to appreciate and understand one another’s differences.

To make this learning more fun, we introduce the different traditions widely practiced around the world such as Christmas, Halloween, Easter and others.

Language

Teaching children familiarize themselves with the alphabet and proper use of words through reading, writing, spelling and verbally communicating.

We integrate the Montessori written language curriculum with other multi-sensory learning approaches.

Before & After School Program

Our Before and After School program is for grade school students. Other than the transportation service we provide to and from their big school, we provide facilities and help them complete their homework while providing age-appropriate childcare.

Art

Montessori students are encouraged to express their feelings, experiences, and creativity through the different forms of art.

This helps to refine fine motor, gross motor, auditory discrimination, and self-expression skills. With these goals in mind, the sequence of lessons and materials is important.

Music & Theater with Rockstar Music Academy

We offer music, parkour and dance classes that have proven to develop motor, coordination and sensory skills among children. As a culminating activity, we hold recitals and other performances where families and friends are welcome to watch.

Some programs are built into the tuition fees, others may be optional with an add-on fee. Materials and uniform are added fees.
